Meet the teacher
Hayley Hoopla, one of Australia’s most sought after hula hoop performers, known for her quirky acts & dazzling costumes, created the Hoop Army in 2016. Recognising the need for Women to have a platform for expression, she created 18 identical costumes & made a Hula Hoop Army. Growing up, her mother’s funk dance school focused on having fun, which is a thread throughout Hayley’s career. An innovator in her field, she went from an award winning costume maker, to hula hoop performer, hiphop aerobics instructor & Captain of the army. Her passion for hoop dance choreography fuses styles of Funk, Street dance, Dancehall, Bellydance & Cabaret.
